Recommendations to improve listening and attention: 

1. Stay present:

-Don't try to translate every word the other person says in your head. 

-Don't try to make your response to what they're saying  while they are still speaking. 

-Perfection is the enemy of fluency.

2. Make learning English a necessity:

-Make a friend who only speaks English.

3. Watch videos in English:

-Watch movies, tv shows and audible or audio books.

4. Listen to many accents.
