Apóstrofo

APOSTROPHE.

1.- Siguiendo los ejemplos explicados por Abbe, usando apóstrofo construye y redacta: 

    a). Cinco oraciones breves, incluyendo al menos un ser vivo. 

        I.- My friend's mom.

       II.- Laura's family.

      III.- My sister's cake.

      IV.- Your cousin's girlfriend.

       V.- Ana's rabbit. 

    b). Cinco oraciones breves, incluyendo al menos un ser inanimado.

        I.- My neighbor's skateboard.

       II.- Miranda's chair. 

      III.- Lucia's notebook.

      IV.- My grandmother's dress.

       V.- My sister´s house. 

2.- De modo similar a los ejemplos contemplados en Easy English at Home , usando primero un pronombre demostrativo, construye y redacta:

    a). Cinco afirmaciones breves, con el apóstrofo después de un nombre              personal.    

        I.- That is Andrea's pen.

       II.- Those are Miguel's shoes.

      III.- This is Alexa's cell phone.

      IV.- These Sandy's books.

       V.- That is Pablo's shirt. 

     b). Cinco afirmaciones breves, con el apóstrofo después de un sustantivo plural. 

          I.- These are my parents' houses.

         II.- These are my friends' books.

        III.- Those are your aunts' dresses.

        IV.- Those are the girls' hats.

         V.- These are your friends' glasses. 

      c). Cinco afirmaciones breves, con el apóstrofo después de un plural irregular. 

           I.- Those are the children's colors.

          II.- These are the women's earrings.

         III.- Those are people's jackets.

         IV.- These are the children's cats.

          V.- Those are women's shoes.

       d) Cinco afirmaciones breves, con el apóstrofo después de un nombre terminado con "s".

           I.- This is Carlos' backpack.

          II.- Those are Inés' toys.

         III.- These are Blas' cups.

         IV.- That is Marcos' bed.

          V.- These are Moisés' headphones. 

3.- Con base en la estructura de las afirmaciones -con y sin apóstrofo- escritas por Rachma, construye y redacta al menos una (y máximo tres) por cada una de ellas explicadas por la docente. 

     - My mom's house is beautiful. 

     - The girl's bethroom. / The girls' bathroom.

     - My waitress's shoes are black. / My waitress' shoes are black.

      - My waitresses' shoes are black.

     - We played in Gustavo's brother's room.

     - The school security service is bad.

     - The name of the store was "Sweet Cherry".

     - My brother's name is Jason.
